Justin Ebrahemi (he/they) is a San Francisco-based writer, artist, and arts administrator. As CounterPulse’s Director of Communications & Advancement, Justin leverages creative content to dismantle barriers between artists and audiences, utilizing his journalism skills in filmmaking, interviewing, and blogging to build engagement. As a writer, Justin’s publications span from SFMOMA’s Open Space to investigative reporting to grassroots zines, as well as a book of poetry entitled Ecdysis. Through CounterPulse he launched the Open Stage program as a community offering to multidisciplinary Bay Area performers, and the virtual poetry/movement activity series, Pandemic Poetics.
